Quinoline (QN) is a heterocyclic aromatic organic compound (chemical formula C₉H₇N, molecular weight 129.16 g·mol⁻¹) supplied as a colorless to pale liquid. It is used as a precursor and intermediate in the manufacture of dyes, agrochemical actives, pharmaceuticals and specialty chemicals. Quinoline is slightly soluble in cold water and miscible with most organic solvents. Final acceptance of any lot must be based on the supplier batch COA and SDS.
