Product Description

N-Methylaniline is a clear to slightly yellow aromatic amine used as an intermediate in dyes, agrochemicals, rubber chemicals, antioxidants and fine-chemical synthesis. It is supplied in industrial, technical and reagent grades with lot COA for procurement and process qualification.

Application

  • Dye & pigment intermediate
Used as a building block in dye and pigment synthesis where aromatic amine functionality is required.
  • Rubber chemicals & antioxidants
Intermediate in manufacture of antidegradants, antioxidants and rubber-processing chemicals.
  • Pharmaceutical & agrochemical synthesis (intermediate)
Feedstock for multi-step syntheses in active-ingredient and agrochemical intermediate manufacture (requires regulatory qualification for final use).
  • Corrosion inhibitor & additive intermediate
Precursor for amine-functional additives and corrosion inhibitors following downstream modification.
  • Solvent / processing reagent
Used as a specialty solvent or reaction medium in selected organic transformations.
  • Analytical & laboratory reagent
Provided in small-pack certified lots for R&D, analytical standards and method development.
