Cyclohexylamine is an aliphatic primary amine (C₆H₁₃N) characterized by good nucleophilicity and moderate basicity. It is used as an intermediate for specialty amines, corrosion inhibitors, rubber accelerators, solvent blends and other industrial syntheses where an alicyclic amine functionality is required.
