Product Introduction
4,4′-Methylenedianiline (CAS 101-77-9), commonly known as MDA or 4,4′-Diaminodiphenylmethane, is an aromatic amine with the molecular formula C13H14N2. It appears as white to pale yellow flakes or crystalline powder. MDA is a critical industrial building block, primarily used in the synthesis of diisocyanates and as a high-performance cross-linking agent. Its structural rigidity and reactive amine groups make it indispensable for producing materials with high thermal stability and mechanical strength.

Packaging
Standard industrial packaging options for 4,4′-Methylenedianiline include:
-
25kg or 50kg fiber drums with double-layer PE moisture-proof inner bags.
-
500kg or 1000kg super sacks (Jumbo bags) for large-scale MDI or resin production.
-
Custom packaging available upon request for pilot-scale R&D.
Storage
4,4′-Methylenedianiline is light-sensitive and classified as a hazardous substance. It must be stored in a cool, dry, and dark warehouse. Keep containers tightly sealed to prevent oxidation (which causes the product to turn brown). Store away from strong oxidizing agents, acids, and food products. Ensure proper ventilation and use appropriate PPE during handling. Properly stored, it has a shelf life of 24 months.
